A respected commitment to service
Carl began his career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy following his graduation in 1992 from the University of Illinois, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science through the NROTC scholarship program.
His first assignment was aboard USS BRISCOE (DD 977) serving as Electronic Warfare Officer, Tomahawk Strike Warfare Officer and then Navigator. Aboard USS BRISCOE, he deployed to the Red Sea and earned his designation as a Surface Warfare Officer. In 1996, he was assigned to Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, FL, for instructor duty teaching Navigation and Leadership where he also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Currently at the rank of Captain, Carl is assigned to the Joint Staff South at the Pentagon. He served several tours with the Joint Staff Military Delegation to NATO in Brussels and at the Pentagon and has received a number of awards, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
Carl lives with his wife, Diana, and their children, Abigail and Elijah, in Greenfield, NH, where they love the outdoors and rural life.

Hazel joined Grove Street Fiduciary in 2008.
Prior to joining Grove Street Fiduciary, Hazel worked in the Insurance Industry, as a Business Systems Analyst in the Technology Industry and prior to that as a Business Systems Analyst in the Specialty Retail Industry.
She is a 1985 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BS degree in Mathematics.
Hazel lives in Greenfield, NH and visits her children who have settled on the west coast as often as possible. She especially enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, hiking, kayaking and snowshoeing. Her yellow Labrador Retriever Willow and cat Jinx complete her family.

Stephanie Samuelson joined Grove Street Fiduciary in 2013.
Prior to joining Grove Street Fiduciary, Stephanie worked in the banking industry in multiple positions including teller, customer service representative, accounting assistant and various back office operations.
She is a 2005 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a BS degree in Economics/Finance.
Stephanie was born and raised in New Hampshire and currently lives in Francestown with her husband Pete and their three children Kaelyn, Haley and Nolan.
She enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and watching her children in their extracurricular activities that include dance and gymnastics.

Lisa Carey joined Grove Street Fiduciary in November of 2011.
She is a 1986 graduate of the University of Tampa with a BS degree in Management Information Systems and a minor in Business Management.
Lisa was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but moved to Tampa, Florida as a child and remained there until relocating to New Hampshire with her husband Steve. Lisa and Steve have two daughters, Lindsey and Katie, who keep the family quite busy with their respective sports, basketball and soccer.
Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and the rural life that Greenfield, New Hampshire offers.
